How many hours do I need to code?

On average, you should spend about 2 – 4 hours a day coding. However, efficient coding practice isn’t really about the depth of time spent writing or learning codes but rather benchmarked on the individual’s consistency over a given time.

Why is coding so interesting?

Coding and programming is super interesting. It allows people to get together to build something unique, share ideas, innovate, solve problems, and learn new things every day. This youtube video is very inspiring – and it was one of the first real inspirational coding videos I came across when first starting out.

How do you think about coding problems?

  2. Step 2: create a step-by-step plan for how you’ll solve it.
  3. Step 3: carry out the plan and write the actual code.
  4. Step 4: look back and possibly refactor your solution if it could be better.

  4. Don’t just read code, run it.
  5. Add a dose of fun to your projects or apprenticeships.
  6. Always challenge yourself.
  7. Create a personal project from scratch.
  8. Define a goal.

Is 100 days of code a good course?

Pros: Great Framework and source of motivation, Friendly and Encouraging community. Even with a full time job, commiting to 1 hour of code per day is not unrealistic. I achieved so much during my 100 days: finished 3 certificates, built tons of projects, met new people, and overall had a great time.
