The JEE Advanced rank is considered for admissions in IITs and ISM along with some other colleges like IISER . NITs, IIITs and GFTIs give admission through the JEE Mains Rank (60\% weightage to Mains marks and 40\% to Board Percentage). JEE Advanced rank has nothing to do with admission to an NIT.
