I visited the Shard for coffee/drinks a few months ago. It was a really good experience. The areas around the Shard building have been modernised, and it was also nice to have a wander around there too.

    The building cost a mammoth £435 million pounds to build and because construction was taking place during the global financial crash, plans for the building were almost abandoned altogether. Luckily though, the construction did continue and allowed us to witness The Shard that we see today.

Jeans would be acceptable, however please be aware that trainers of any kind can be considered sportswear, so we recommend wearing a more conventional style of shoe. Yes jeans are fine.
