Yes. Graphic card memory and system memory have nothing to do with each other. You can use a GDDR5 graphics card on a motherboard that accepts only DDR3 system memory.

Yes you can. The DDR3, DDR5 of a graphics card is the VRAM type/version it has. The DDR2 of the motherboard is the main system memory, i.e. RAM, type, not the graphics card memory type. The only thing you need to check is whether or not your motherboard has a PCI-E slot.
