Why is physics the hardest subject?

Physics involves a lot of concentration to understand the concepts. One cannot understand everything in one go. It needs time and constant practice. Solving problems require a lot of basics as well as understanding.

Why do I hate physics so much?

People generally hate physics because of the way they approach it. If you just take it like just another subject like history, where you have to just accept whatever is being taught to you and memorize it, people end up being frustrated with physics. Physics is something which demands imagination.

Do students learn physics by working on problems and failing?

Yes, students learn physics by working on problems and by failing to solve problems. It’s the journey to the solution that’s important, not the solution itself. Using a video solution would be like using a golf cart to run 5 miles.

Why do some students get frustrated with physics?

That is why they get quickly frustrated with the subject, especially if their low grades persist and show no apparent improvement. They have to be aware that Physics, unlike other subjects, is basically a conceptual subject. To put it differently, it usually deals with abstract and immaterial side of the “matter”.

Is physics a hard subject to study?

Whether A-levels or O-levels, a number of students struggle to have the bare minimum grade in this subject. In Physics, students find it extremely hard to memorize theories, principles, and grasp the laws of Physics. More importantly, they do not possess the skills to apply their theoretical knowledge into problem solving practice.

Why don’t math teachers teach physics?

As you probably know, solving problems in Physics requires a previous familiarity with some mathematical equations, and as Math teachers do not teach Physics per se and vice versa, students have to figure out how to solve those problems themselves. I hate to say it, but they sometimes come up with catastrophic answers.
