Why does my skin look so red on camera?

Your skin is always the same color. But the wavelengths of the photons bouncing off of it change depending on what wavelengths of photon are available in the light source itself. So from the camera’s point of view, your skin changed color. I mean, it didn’t, but it looks to the sensor as if it did.
