Why do most students dislike math subject?

Why do most students dislike math subject?

Some students dislike math because they think it’s dull. They don’t get excited about numbers and formulas the way they get excited about history, science, languages, or other subjects that are easier to personally connect to. They see math as abstract and irrelevant figures that are difficult to understand.

How do you think physics and mathematics are related to biology?

Today, using the tools of chemistry and physics (and using math), biology has gone down to the atomic and molecular level, figuring out the biochemistry of genes and proteins. Today, such quantitative measurements can be carried out simultaneously on thousands of genes or proteins in an organism.

When Math is Used: Biologists use math as they plot graphs to help them understand equations, run small “trial and error” tests with some sample numbers when developing algorithms, and use the R project for analyzing protein sequences and structures. Biologists also use software with a lot of underlying mathematics.

Why is biology a difficult subject?

Biology and Biology majors are hard because of the vast amount of information required to learn but also involves a lot of unfamiliar concepts (some of which are difficult) and require mastering an unfamiliar vocabulary (which is true of any science).

Is biology a good subject for Physics?

This means that to many physicists who like to see fixed definite answers biology can be seen as more vague, and closer in nature to a non science subject. Likewise, I have known some biologists who say that physics does not examine the whole picture and is therefore lacking as the models and systems are simpler. Rep:?

What is your problem with biology?

My problem with biology is that the axioms that it asks you to accept are too large. For instance, enzymes float around and things bind to it and then that causes chemical reactions to speed up. Okay, I can accept that (actually I kind of have to or I have no hope or understanding further biology concepts).

How is biology taught in high school?

Biology is usually taught by two types of professors/teachers: the dry and boring monotone teachers who couldn’t get a spark plug to ignite if he set it on fire or the mean spirited ones who tries to weed out the weaker students who want to be doctors.

Why do we study physics and chemistry?

Physics, chemistry, and biology, and much of learning in general, is based on belief. We belief in certain core axioms, which then build a foundation for further statements that we accept to be true, and then further and further and so on until we reach more complicated subjects.
