Why did Heimdall only send Hulk?

Why did Heimdall only send Hulk?

As the Mad Titan declared that there were two more stones on Earth, Heimdall gave Earth an advantage by sending Hulk to warn them and prepare them for what lay ahead. The fact that Bruce was a human, an intellectual academic and one of Earth’s Avengers was another reason that Heimdall chose him.

Why did Heimdall send Hulk and not Thor?

As an Asgardian and Thor’s trusted friend, Heimdall understood that he would rather die honorably while protecting his people than be rescued at the expense of their deaths. Heimdall, for his part, decided to save Bruce Banner because, even in his Hulk-induced anger, he understood where his loyalties lay.

How did Heimdall know where to send the Hulk?

I believe that Heimdall knew where to send Hulk because Thor told him that Strange is a very powerful force and Strange could help protect the earth and also find the avengers to do that too… Also I believe that Hulk was the only that could resist the journey through the Bifrost force.

Why did Thanos want to kill the Hulk before moving on?

Heimdall sent Hulk to earth so that he could warn people of Thanos’s coming, and presumably Thanos knew this (or could safely assume it). So the issue was not that Thanos still had any particular use for Hulk, or that he wanted to kill Hulk before moving on.

Why did Thanos kill Heimdall?

Had Heimdall not carried out the transport of Hulk, presumably Heimdall would have been left as one of the (injured) survivors. Thus, it was a mistake as it prompted Thanos to kill Heimdall. Share Improve this answer Follow edited May 15 ’18 at 14:29 answered May 15 ’18 at 13:03 DaveDave

Why did Thanos lose his life?

Yes, he seemed like he was going to destroy the ship anyways, but maybe he wasn’t initially going to and instead just get the stone, kill Loki, and then leave. But now that he did that, he disrespected Thanos and so thus lost his life.

Was Heimdall’s action the 1st version?

Given the way he says it directly to Heimdall, I’m of the opinion that it’s the 1st version. The only reason that action could have been a mistake made by Heimdall is that it will negatively impact Heimdall himself.
