Is the Stay Alive game real?
The story revolves around a video game called Stay Alive. The thing is, this is not a normal video game. When a player’s character dies in the game, the player dies in real life, exactly how they died in the game. Stay Alive is loosely based on the real-life Elizabeth Bathory.
Why is life called a game?
Life is a game just like all the other games. The only difference is that life is the only game that we don’t realize is a game. What is a game loop in game development?
A game loop is this ethereal entity in every non-static game. The game loop needs to be carefully managed or the game will go slow. This has improved dramatically in the past years with nice engines like Unity, Unreal and CryEngine abstracting most of it. Animation is another pain.
What is the difference between application development and game development?
Although almost all application development has some degree of understanding of user experience, game development takes it to another level. Everyone in the pipeline is concerned with user experience. From the most dramatic things like design to stuff that doesn’t even cross people’s minds like the animation of a button.
