A biology major studies the science behind living organisms. This includes the origin and history of animal and plant life, and their characteristics, function, processes and habits.

Biology and Biology majors are hard because of the vast amount of information required to learn but also involves a lot of unfamiliar concepts (some of which are difficult) and require mastering an unfamiliar vocabulary (which is true of any science).

Restoration, ecology, conservation, and plant/animal classes will talk about chemistry but nothing too Indepth. However, if you Persue a biology degree you will probably take at least one chemistry class. Three were required for my degree. You’ll probably also be taking a genetics class and a molecular biology class.
