Is ICAI study material important?

Study material is indeed good but it is not that much user friendly. Sometimes solving last year question papers for each subject will boost up your confidence to a whole new level as you will get to know the practical application of all the things you have studied in the material.

Is practice manual enough for AMA?

Practice Manuals are the best and the most sufficient material provided by ICAI. Also solutions there provide a sneak peak into how answers should be written. Theory which is amount 33\% of the AMA paper is given in Practice Manual in a very simple and apt way.

How are AMA exemptions scored?

1. Please solve at least 2–4 questions everyday in last few months; without practice you will definitely not understand if your concepts are actually strong and how good is your time management.

What are the rules of study during leave period?

During leave period at least 14 to 16 hours’ hard work is required. Avoid mobiles, internet and television as far as possible. Students must study from study material and do practice from practice manual. Wherever a particular topic or point is not clear, a student may refer to a standard text/reference book.
