Yes! I got a job through HackerRank. Let me give you a little background first. I completed my engineering from a Tier 3 college with a CS degree and a job in hand. Sounds perfect right? Well no. I did have a job from college in a well reputed service based firm but the truth is I never got to hear from them for a long time.

What this means is that instead of traditional resumes, organisations can now look up GitHub / HackerEarth/ HackerRank profiles to evaluate developers, using these platforms as a more tangible measure of the developers’ work, not just in terms of performance, but also their creative output and its value to the community.

Do you have any coding rounds at HackerRank?

There were coding rounds and I was able to qualify it due to the time I spent at Hackerrank. It was like a blessing in disguise not getting a call from that job because had I joined that company I would never be able to spend time at Hackerrank which eventually wouldn’t have lent me up where I am today. So thank you Hackerrank! 🙂

Does hackhackerearth offer further interview rounds after the coding challenge?

HackerEarth had hosted a coding challenge of Cleartrip and it clearly mentioned that they could possibly offer opportunities for further interview rounds to people. As it was my first time giving a challenge of such kind, I didn’t have very high hopes.
