I was aware that Costco does not change tires on Teslas.

Do Costco tires include installation?

An Installation charge of $18.99 per tire is included in the quoted price. This includes: Mounting, Lifetime Balancing, Lifetime Rotation, Lifetime Flat Repair, Lifetime Air Pressure Checks, New Rubber Valve Stem, & Costco Wholesale’s Road Hazard Warranty. Costco will only install Costco-purchased tires.

Yes. I replaced all 4 tires of my 2012 P85 (deep blue metallic) this January at Costco – bought the tires from them which saved me $400 in total (compared to how much Tesla quoted for the same brand tires). The lugnuts were so tight that Costco couldn’t get one of the tires out.

Any tyre fitting place can change tyres on a Tesla. There’s nothing special about Tesla wheels or tyres, they use the same boring ordinary sized tyres on boring ordinary sized wheels as many other cars with petrol or Diesel engines.

Can I get discount tires for my Tesla?

So yes, you can find tire shops that sell tires for less than Tesla Service Centers, but keep in mind that they probably pay their employees much less than trained Tesla service technicians, and the discount tires will be significantly noisier than the original sound-dampened ones that came with your Tesla.
