No regrets whatsoever. The people who’ve already responded that they would not enlist have an inaccurate picture of what to expect. EDIT: I didn’t have to kill anybody, do anything I didn’t want to do, blindly follow orders, or anything of the sort.
Do you think the military is for everyone?
No. The military is not for everyone, and there are other ways to serve your country. It was not for me. By inclination and talent, I’m a builder, not a fighter. I do not want to take anything away from those serving in uniform, they do indeed serve in the most honored and celebrated fashion.

I do not want to take anything away from those serving in uniform, they do indeed serve in the most honored and celebrated fashion. But a country is not built, run, or improved upon by the force of arms or by the bravery of its soldiers alone.
