Can I cancel my admission in NIT?

. Any student admitted to any of the Courses offered by the Institute may apply for cancellation of his/her admission at any time during the academic year of admission or later. Please note that presence of the Student is must for cancellation of his/her admission.

Is fee refundable in NIT?

The institute shall refund the entire fee after deduction of one thousand rupees to those candidates who surrender/withdraw their seat before the date of closing of the admission every year and the seats vacated by them are filled through waitlisted candidates/spot admissions.

Can college keep original certificates of students?

New UGC norms prevents educational institutes from keeping original document of students. Higher education institute can use original documents to verify authenticity and need not keep original documents with them. It must be returned to the students. Institute can keep only attested copies of the documents.
