Yes I swore at my mother once, or even twice. It’s not recommended behaviour, but it’s perfectly niormal and as another poster says, it’s probably best to apologise. An apology costs nothing and can do a lot of peace-keeping, even though it sounds as if your mum was being a pain (but no more so than most mums, I hasten to add!)
